College of Saint Mary, in Omaha, NE, added a 75,000 square foot facility to their existing Lied Fitness Center alongside their 15,000 square foot renovation. The dramatic expansion of athletic facility will not only provide an amazing facility for student athletes to study and train, but will also enhance the greater Omaha community.
The facility façade consists of multiple premium products provided by SGH Concepts.
Genwall’s Insulated back-up wall system was utilized to provide the facility with an air and weathertight wall, utilizing a high R-value to help save the owner money on utilities. The Genwall system allowed a quick and easy install to enclose the building and provide a unique way to assist in the attachment of the outer façade. The system’s black painted components require no additional products to blackout any open joint rainscreen system.
Swisspearl Largo Carat fiber cement panels (Sapphire) were used for the bulk of the exterior façade to create an aesthetic and sustainable open joint panel system. Centria’s IW-10 corrugated panels were used on the drive-thru soffits. SGH Concepts’ aluminum composite metal Sieccoline system, and TMCO Inc’s perforated screenwalls, provide eye-catching, bright yellow accents to the facility to give it a clean and vibrant appeal.
