SCC Health and Sciences opened in late 2020 to provide Lincoln’s community college and its students an elegant, eye-catching building to further their education in the healthcare profession. Housing state of the art equipment, in incredibly appealing surroundings, the students and educators are given a comfortable and functional environment to learn.
Genwall’s Insulated back-up wall system allows an air and weathertight wall, utilizing a high R-value to help save the owner money on utilities. Genwall’s installation allows a quick and easy way to enclose the building and
provide a unique way to assist in the attachment of the outer façade while its black painted components require no additional products to blackout any open joint rainscreen system.

Swisspearl’s Sigma 8 concealed fastener façade system, in Onyx 7090 color, provides an overall smooth, sleek look to this building. These fiber cement panels are fitted with specifically designed cleats that can attach to metal or timber vertical sub-framing, hiding all fasteners.
Profiled metal wall panels were used for the inserts between the windows, giving the building a pleasing contrast to its otherwise smooth complexion.
