You may have seen an example of SGH Concepts’ work without even knowing it. If you or a friend has shopped for a vehicle recently, you have likely experienced SGH Concepts’ brand integration solutions. SGH Concepts has helped welcome millions of car buyers to Toyota dealerships in the last several years.
This portal design — the part of the building you walk through to get to the front doors — is a key part of Toyota’s Image USA II program. SGH Concepts was there to lead the design and implementation of the highly recognizable portal and its incredibly successful national brand rollout.
Toyota’s new image called for illuminated glass monolithic portals. The SGH Concepts team worked diligently to design and execute a system that would meet and exceed Toyota’s expectations.
We designed and fabricated custom metal solutions as an integral part of the final assembly. Then, to make sure it adhered to Toyota’s famous principles of process improvement, we created an advanced assembly system to meet tight demands of construction schedules.
To meet Toyota’s aggressive plans to update all of their facilities nationally, SGH managed six to eight crews constructing up to 15 portals per month.

Sephora is another high-profile national client we’re honored to partner with for brand integration initiatives.
For Sephora’s flagship store in Times Square, we designed the monolithic structure to support its brand to show it to the world. When you have real estate on Times Square in New York City, you need to make every square inch of your space count. Cameras from around the world capture your storefront every day — a level of exposure few companies can claim.
Based on that model, SGH Concepts has developed an entire storefront system, including Sephora’s monolithic structure. This system has the ability to be duplicated and rolled out on a national scale.
